It took some guts and timing before I took this video. As you can see he keeps on looking back, no doubt wondering why I was taking photos and video of him. Scenes like these are a natural occurrence my part of the world, and the rest of the Philippines; people looking for plastic bottles, paper, etc. collating them and selling them in junk shop near the area in exchange for money to buy a pancit (Rice Sticks or whatever is equivalent in other nation). 1 kilo of rice (1 CAD or 1 USD) is what it takes to feed a family and some viands like vegetables, some chicken and soup . I try not to think about this situation, but life is really brutal in many ways. Three street boys happen to be near our place, routinely positioned, to beg for money from the time they wake up until evening. I once caught these boys gambling with the money they begged for. I was a bit angry at the same time scratching my head, thinking how that money could be used for their families. The man above is as ordinary as everyone but no house to live in, people to be with, vagabond in his own land.
